This Friday 22nd February 2019, 7.30pm, join me at Chisenhale Dance Space for a special screening of —-Othella Dallas – What is Luck? by Swiss director Andres Bruetsch, followed by a presentation of my project “Radical Integration”.
‘Radical Integration’ is a performance piece, political movement, live rehearsal, perpetual R&D, personal journey all rolled into one.
Some background…
In October 2018 I was one of two successful bids for “Collaboration Between Generations” commission by CDS with a generous donation from The Choreographer’s Gallery Trust. The funding enabled me to travel to Switzerland and work with Othella Dallas, a principal dancer of the Katherine Dunham Company in the 1940s. Continue reading
